The British superstar is the first name announced for the second edition of the festival, which returns to the Rowing Canal in Plovdiv from 16 to 18 July 2027. Tickets go on presale on Friday at 10:00

British pop’s greatest showman, Robbie Williams, comes to Plovdiv next year to headline the opening night of PHILLGOOD 2027. After a summer that brought together thousands of happy people and left behind high expectations and a long list of musical wishes for the next one, the festival gives its first answer with the British superstar. From 16 to 18 July 2027 PHILLGOOD returns to the Rowing Canal in the oldest living city in Europe with the ambition to go beyond its first edition. The presale of tickets for PHILLGOOD 2027 starts tomorrow at 10:00 across Ticket Station.

Robbie Williams is the first name with which Fest Team starts putting together the PHILLGOOD musical puzzle for 2027. He returns to Bulgaria after his concert at Vasil Levski National Stadium in 2025, when more than 40,000 people welcomed him in Sofia and “Angels” closed the night in the voices of tens of thousands of fans. The magic of every meeting with Robbie is in the paradox of the huge stage and the feeling that he is singing to you personally.

Robbie Williams is one of the most successful music artists in the world, with 90 million albums sold worldwide, six of the 100 best-selling albums in British history and a record 16 number one albums in the United Kingdom. With “BRITPOP”, his 16th album, he went back to the top of the British charts and extended his own record as the artist with the most number one records in the UK. Over his career Robbie has won a record 18 BRIT Awards, 8 German ECHO awards, 3 MTV Europe awards and 2 Grammy nominations. In 2025 he received the PRS for Music Icon award at the Ivors, his fifth Ivor Novello Award, which placed him among the most iconic and influential British songwriters. On 16 July 2027 comes the next meeting with the bad boy of British pop at PHILLGOOD. Last year Robbie Williams was also named official music ambassador of FIFA, a role that connects football and music. He recorded the first ever official FIFA anthem, “Desire”, together with Laura Pausini. The anthem accompanies the players as they walk onto the pitch at all FIFA tournaments and matches around the world. On 16 July 2027 comes the next meeting with on of British pop’s biggest stars at PHILLGOOD.

The first edition of the festival set a high bar and over three days the Rowing Canal hosted more than 35 Bulgarian and international bands, while The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby drew an audience of different ages and nationalities – more than 25% of it from abroad! The event was covered by media from Italy, Greece, the United Kingdom, Germany, Serbia, Romania, Turkey and the Netherlands, and together with Hills of Rock, festival July made Plovdiv home to over 60,000 visitors within two weeks. In terms of the conditions it offers, PHILLGOOD already stands alongside the established European festivals. Attention to every detail remains the leading principle in 2027 as well, from the specialised flooring in front of all stages and the dedicated media centre to the sign language interpretation of the “Music Is for Everyone” programme, the platform for people with mobility impairments and the “Refill, Reuse, Repeat” reusable cups.

The presale of tickets for PHILLGOOD 2027 starts tomorrow at 10:00 across the Ticket Station network for all Mastercard holders. On Saturday and Sunday, Fest Club members will have access to tickets. If there are tickets left, they will go on general sale on Monday at 10:00, priced from 99 euro for a one-day ticket and 199 euro for a three-day ticket. Three-day camping tickets are also available from 66 euro, and caravan tickets from 88 euro. As a reminder, the first promo tickets for next year sold out before the first artist was announced.
